Personal Cleanliness

This is a somewhat neurotic guide to personal cleanliness, probably best suited to those who work in the sex/adult entertainment industry, have a very active sex life, or a slave who has a fastidious Dominant to serve. Hint, hint. It may be a good idea to read this article prior to a session with a professional Dominant or before a date with a new lover.
The Goal
As an adult entertainer, a great lover, a sex slave, or whatever you may fancy yourself, it may benefit you to present the illusion of physical perfection. Of course, that includes cleanliness. A girl giving a lapdance doesn't want her customer creeping away from her because of her bad breath odor. A client visiting a pro-Domme for the first time doesn't want to be tied up and pinned down, only to have the Domme discover a feces-streaked chunk of toilet paper has adhered itself to his tender parts. And on that first date, if your lover finds you not-so-fresh when they are ready to go down on you for the first time, it may be a long time before they want to do it again.
So? The goal is to be clean, always. You should make extra certain that you are clean when you are planning a playdate or a session, but I suggest you keep yourself clean at all times. Suppose you had a spontaneous opportunity to take an extra session, or the fantasy girl of your dreams meets you in the hallway at your work and wants to take you right then and there? Suddenly, you realize you have to dash off to the bathroom to clean up first. No, that doesn't look very good at all.
Bathing
Bathing should be a daily or even twice-daily procedure. If you have exceptionally dry skin, you should only bathe once every three days, but use a baby wipe or a clean wash cloth to groom your face, under arms, armpits, and if you happen to have skin folds of any kind, in-between them. (For example: behind your ear, under your double chin, under your paniculus, etc.) Make sure you dry all these areas thoroughly too.
Shower or bathe in hot (but not too hot, of course) water. If you have delicate skin, use only lukewarm water. Soak in the water for at least 15 minutes. If you are washing your hair, do so now, with your favourite shampoo, then rinse thoroughly.
Now that the water has given your skin a chance to soften up, turn off the shower, or lift yourself out of the tub. Use a mild soap, such as unscented, hypoallergenic baby wash, or a light natural soap such as Dr. Bronner's, on a poof, a clean light sponge, or a very light body brush. Lather your entire body EXCEPT the face and any sensitive or "trouble" spots of your body ( i.e., acne prone areas, hideous skin rashes, etc) and then rinse off.
If you shave, now is the time to shave. (See more details below.) ... If you have washed your hair, apply conditioner, then rinse your hair in freezing cold water. This closes your hair follicles off to leave hair tangle-free and smoother.
Hop out of the tub and dry your entire body with a fresh, clean towel. Rub vigorously. If any dry or dead skin peels off, rub more and then shake off, and remember to scrub more thoroughly with the poof/sponge/brush next time.
Hair
Wash your hair at least once a week -- probably more like every three days. Brush your hair twice daily, morning and night, and keep it neatly trimmed once every month and a half -- split ends can break off, leaving nasty hairs clinging to your collar. Don't use extensive hair styling products -- hair gels and sprays make your hair a bit sticky, collecting dust and dirt throughout the day -- that doesn't sound very clean to me!
If you shave ANYTHING, make sure you start with a nice sharp razor, at least three blades. Use an unscented shaving cream liberally. If you have thick hair, lather up, shave everything off, and then lather and shave again. There is more information associated with shaving your private areas below.
Unless you or your sex partner or directors or fans or what not are especially fond of body hair, you would do well to shave your entire body. Avoid moles and such as best as you can, but shaving three times a week will leave your body smooth and perfect looking -- it helps reduce body odor, keeps dirt from clinging to your body, makes your muscles appear more toned and your skin appear more even. Be sure to shave before a performance, shoot, or date. I do not recommend shaving daily as this can make the skin very rough, so give yourself a day or two's time between shaving -- if you have stubble, just hide from the world for that day. Seriously.
Notably, if you shave, it is extra important to apply a lotion of some kind. Shaving removes all of your dead skin -- which is great for staying clean, but it exposes new layers of skin underneath which are fragile and dry easily, leaving you with rough skin, especially later in life.
Don't dry out
Use a simple lotion such as baby lotion or pure raw cocoa butter. If you suffer from skin problems, try rubbing pure, food-grade aloe vera juice into your entire body, letting it dry, and then applying the lotion.... both aloe vera and cocoa butter have been shown to help skin regrow faster and healthier, and prevent scarring.
Adding a few drops of pure lavender oil, or tea tree extract to your lotion of choice is supposed to help prevent rashes or acne breakouts.
If you like to tan (which i do not recommend, EVER) apply peanut oil to your entire body regularly, it will help your skin manage its melanin better.
These measures will go far to helping your skin -- trust me, you'll need it. When you're staying this clean, you're also rubbing half your skin off every day.
Scent
You should try to go for a mild, neutral scent, at all times. As yummy as a perfume can smell to you, it usually only covers up someone's natural body odor -- i.e., hides the fact that you are dirty. Further more, it is said 1 out of 4 people are mildly allergic to most major perfumes and colognes. If you desire, try a body spray containing pure essential oils, or apply a few drops of pure essential oils to your wrists, neck, and between your breasts or man chesticles. Only 1 out of 25 people are allergic at all to essential oils.
As far as deodorants go, try an unscented deodorant, such as a salt stick, or a mildly scented "sport" deodorant. Apply it twice daily, and after any shower, any time you have been working out, sweating, or swimming, caught in rainstorm, etc. In other words, anytime you have had moisture removing your deodorant, put some more on -- rinse the entire area with water or a baby wipe, then, apply deodorant.
Personal Areas
Okie dokie! As far as your armpits go, keep the hair short or shave every day -- unless you have a gig that requires lots of hair. Make sure you keep baby wipes and deodorant around, in your purse or gym bag, to wipe down your underarms and then re-apply deodorant, anytime you go out and are sweating profusely. It will go far to staying clean and soft.
Rinse your genitals with clear, fresh water, daily, while showering or bathing. I highly recommend shaving or trimming, which I will cover in more detail near the end of this section.
Every time you urinate, use a baby wipe to remove any urine from your body. With guys, this is less necessary -- yes, just shaking is fine, unless you have VERY stinky urine -- but it doesn't hurt. You can also use the baby wipe to freshen up that area. Girls, whatever you do, DO NOT USE TOILET PAPER ON YOUR CROTCH, EVER, EVER, EVER. Okay? Toilet paper is evil. Little tiny bits of it can stick to your personal area in the most unattractive ways, and even if you can't see it, trust me, it's there. Keep baby wipes in your purse and use those to gently wipe urine off after you pee. Oh yeah, also, boys and girls -- make sure you go pee often, that way you can sort of freshen up that area, in general. People sweat, get salty and stinky down there, and occasionally get "moist" with sexual fluids, and not everyone likes that. Guys, too. I know a lot of guys who leak precum at random throughout the day and all guys sweat profusely in-between their legs which creates a musky odor which may be attractive to some people.
Every time you defecate, use toilet paper to remove most of the soil from your bottom, then, use a baby wipe to carefully wipe that area clean. Make sure that if hair grows down there, it is trimmed down neatly or shaven or waxed, otherwise, nasty little bits of feces could be lurking in the hairs.
Keep baby wipes in your purse, gym bag, and near every single toilet in your home.
I count the mouth as a personal area. Brush your teeth with a nice, mildly minty tooth paste every time you eat -- three times a day, on average. Try not to drink anything but clear, pure water the rest of the day. Other beverages can cause plaque and yellowing of the teeth. ....After brushing your teeth, use a mild mouthwash, then rinse your mouth with clear water afterwards, and apply chapstick to your lips to keep them soft and moisturized. Keep a xylitol-sweetened mint gum on hand to help promote fresh breath if you do need to eat between meals or drink a non-water beverage, or just as a general pick me up between brushes.
The Face
The face is of particular importance during cleanliness. The face should be washed twice or three times a day with a VERY mild soap, then a very mild lotion applied (i recommend unscented Aveno baby lotion for this purpose, or Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion) ... if your face is very sensitive, rinse it with filtered water instead of washing it. I also recommend that you rinse your face after every meal, to remove any possible traces of food or drink left
See? There's everything about cleanliness your mama never told you. Stick to it!
